The Genetics and Molecular Biotechnology Expertise Group actively participates in the Tridarma of higher education, with a focus on genetics and molecular biology. The development of science is carried out comprehensively from up to downstream in response to the dynamics of scientific and technological advances which include: exploration and conservation of genetic diversity, analysis of gene and protein functions, genetic engineering, synthetic biology, multi-omics (genomics, transcriptomics, nutrigenomics, etc.) which supported by bioinformatics and big data analysis.
